ALP in DuckDB

I have been implementing my new Compression Algorithm (ALP) inside (DuckDB ). I'm happy to say that it is already merged! Here you can find the PR.

Starting my PhD

At the end of 2023 I started my PhD at CWI (NL) with Peter Boncz as my supervisor! I am now testing grounds to find an interesting topic to work (inside the domain of Databases Systems). Until now I am very interested in Data Compression and Vector Similarity Search (ANN).
Learning Unity

Creating videogames has always called my attention. So I have finally decided to start learning a Game Engine. Starting with Unity (despite the controversy) New hobby? Maybe.
